On the occasion of Milan Fashion Week, the Moschino fashion show was staged in a virtual way, as often happens in this period, for the presentation of the new Fall/Winter 2021/2022 collection, Jungle Red. Calling it a parade is really an understatement, it was mostly a show, a show within a show.

Creative director Jeremy Scott calls on super models: from Maye Musk, Elon Musk’s mom, to transgender model Ariel Nicholson; from Hailey Bieber, wife of singer Justin Bieber, to Winnie Harlow, a highly rated model who demonstrated how her vitiligo was not an obstacle to her career but rather a unique feature, to be enhanced; from Amber Valletta, a legend of the catwalks, now 47 years old, to finally close with the transgressive Dita Von Teese.
The jungle by Moschino includes a flamingo dress, printed cows, exaggerated pinstripe suits, prints reminiscent of the Little House on the Prairie, perfect garments for a chic safari, a golden crocodile dress with a tail and diva dresses with a sweetheart neckline and maxi train. All spiced up with the usual ironic vein…
And in fact the show is closed by Dita Von Teese who shows her uncovered backside, framed by a dress with a heart-shaped hole, with a mischievous look.
Moschino proves, once again, that beauty has no age or size, but is made up of courage, character and a pinch of irony.
