The creative exchange between Donatella Versace, creative director of Versace, and Kim Jones, artistic director of Fendi, has been renamed Fendace.
A surprise show was staged to mark the end of Milan Fashion Week, in which the Versace by Fendi and Fendi by Versace collections were presented. An exchange that is also productive, in fact each brand will produce the other’s collection.
Sitting front row were celebrities including Dua Lipa, Demi Moore, and Elizabeth Hurley, who all gathered for the show and Naomi Campbell, Gigi Hadid, Kate Moss, Emily Ratajkowski, Irina Shayk and Amber Valletta are just some of the great supermodels who walked the runway.
Something similar already happened for the Gucci and Balenciaga project for the 100th anniversary of the Italian maison, but in this case the two brands belong to different groups and the collections will be distributed in stores starting in May.
